There are no submission fees and no article processing charges. Every article is open access under the CC BY 4.0 licence, and authors keep the copyright in their work.
Careful, confidential peer review
Manuscripts are reviewed double-blind: reviewers do not see the authors' names and authors do not see the reviewers'. Editors make every decision and explain it in writing.
Professional typesetting
Accepted articles are typeset in a consistent house style and published as PDF and as full text on the article page, with machine-readable metadata (JATS XML) for indexing services.
A record you can follow
Authors follow their manuscript through every stage in their dashboard: submission, editorial check, review rounds, decisions, typesetting and publication. Every author is identified with an ORCID iD.
